We have thrilling news for all our travel enthusiasts! Philippine Airlines (PAL) has announced the launch of nonstop flights between Manila and Seattle, starting October 2nd, 2024. This marks a significant milestone as PAL becomes the pioneer carrier to connect the Philippines with the U.S. Pacific Northwest region, offering seamless travel experiences for both business and leisure travelers.

Seattle will now join the ranks as PAL's sixth destination in the United States, and eighth in North America, further solidifying PAL's position as the leading airline bridging the gap between the Philippines and the United States. With existing nonstop flights to Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Honolulu, and Guam, PAL continues to expand its extensive network, catering to the growing demand for convenient and comfortable travel options.

The addition of the Manila-Seattle route opens up a plethora of opportunities for travelers. For American residents, it offers direct access to the captivating beauty and rich cultural heritage of the Philippines, fostering greater exploration and understanding between nations. Notably, over 900,000 Americans visited the Philippines in 2023, underlining the immense potential for tourism growth.

Equally important is the enhanced connectivity for the Filipino community residing in Washington and Oregon, comprising over 240,000 Filipino Americans. PAL is committed to facilitating seamless connections for Filipinos to reunite with their loved ones and explore the vibrant landscapes of the U.S. Pacific Northwest.

PAL President and Chief Operating Officer, Captain Stanley K. Ng, expressed his delight, stating, "Philippine Airlines is proud to welcome Seattle to our growing U.S. route network. Our Manila-Seattle-Manila flights not only promote the Philippines as a premier tourist and business destination but also cater to the needs of Filipinos seeking to reconnect with family or embark on new adventures in the dynamic U.S. Pacific Northwest."

The significance of this new route was echoed by Philippine Transportation Secretary Jaime J. Bautista, who highlighted its role in boosting travel and tourism between both countries. As PAL expands its reach, it aligns with efforts to enhance airport facilities and operations, ensuring a seamless travel experience for passengers.

Port of Seattle Commissioner Toshiko Hasegawa emphasized the cultural significance of the Manila-Seattle route, recognizing the contributions of the Filipino community to the region's diversity and prosperity. The long-awaited direct service to Manila fulfills a longstanding request and opens doors for cultural exchange and economic collaboration.

The Manila-Seattle flights will operate three times weekly, providing convenient departures and arrivals for travelers. With Seattle serving as a gateway to key cities in Washington and Oregon, travelers can explore a myriad of destinations, facilitated by PAL's extensive network and partnerships.

The introduction of the Manila-Seattle route enhances cargo capacity, bolstering trade and economic ties between the U.S. and Asia. PAL's commitment to delivering exceptional service is underscored by the deployment of Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, equipped with full-flat seats in Business Class and renowned inflight service featuring Filipino and Western culinary delights.

To celebrate this milestone, PAL is offering special introductory fares, allowing travelers to experience the comfort and convenience of nonstop flights at exceptional value.
