Your passport might not be valid!
Part of our job is to remind our travelers that passports must have validity of 3 or 6 months to be eligible for travel. Most countries in Asia, like the Philippines (our most popular destination) requires the US passport to be valid for 6 months. Most countries in Europe require a validity of 3 months.
Despite our reminders during our conversations, in emails, and on their tickets, we still occasionally get calls from our travelers on the day of their flight or the day after to let us know that they were denied boarding at the airport and they would need to rebook their flights. Avoid this costly mistake and trust your travel agent! It is recommended by the State Department that you renew your passports 9 months before expiration.
