US woman held in Philippines after airport staff find baby in her bag

September 04, 2019

We saw this article on CNN today and was flabbergasted by the news!

A woman placed a 6 day old infant into her carry on luggage and went to the airport and attempted to fly out of the country with the infant.

Many of us like to tell our friends and loved ones that, 'if only I could stuff you in my suitcase and take you with me, I would.'  This woman took this literally.  She claims to be the child's aunt but had no evidence to prove their relation.  The infant had no travel documents either.

Thank goodness she was apprehended before causing any further harm to the child.
